Houston Texans was established on October 6, 1999, being the thirty-second NFL team. On March 2, 2000, the team announced five names to choose as their team's name: Apollo, red cat,stallion,Texas and Charlotte people. A month later, the team prepared to choose theie team's name from Apollo,stallion, and Texas. Finally, after some careful consideration, the team decided to use "Texas" as the team's name, while in September 2000 in a commercial district in the Houston,there are a series of team's color and mark selection.Houston Texans take part in the official competition in 2002, the team is possessed by Robert McNair,and has a value of up to 792 million dollars.
